Influenster J'adore Vox Box

Hello guys!

Today I received my J'adore Vox Box which I am SUPER excited about. So let me tell you what came in this box! I got a John Frieda Frizz Ease 3 Day Straight Spray! I am super excited to use this because my hair will often get wavy on the second day after I straighten it. I also got a large bag of Hershey's kisses which are wonderful because who doesn't like chocolate. I also got some Red Rose Tea which is exciting because I love tea. Finally I got some KISS lashes in natural which are awesome and beautiful and Boots Botanics Shine Away Iconic Clay Mask which is also very exciting. Everything is just exciting. I'll keep you updated with how I like everything!! Yay see you all soon!

Santa Clause is Coming to Town... and Jack Frost!

Okay girls!

So WINTER is coming...

I know scary right!? I thought yesterday was the first day of summer!

BUT...

Anyways everyone knows how chapped their lips and their skin get during the cold winters...

Here are some of my little secrets...

(they may be a bit weird, but just go with it)

1. I swear by Blistex.. but only the Medicated Berry one. Never any others

2. Blistex is good for more than just lips, when the skin around you lips become really dry and it just hurts so much, put Blistex on it!
(and I know what you are all thinking...  Lizzie is totally loosing it, but hear me out and try it once, it seriously is the best thing ever! It works better than lotion!)

3. Put lotion on your hands, body, EVERYWHERE... but don't stop there. If you really want to keep your skin soft during the winter, put your lotion on while your skin is still a bit damp. The lotion will help your skin absorb the water so that your skin won't flake and dry out as easily!

Red Lipstick!

Okay, so I know that wearing red lipstick can be a bit intimidating, but once you have found the right shade that helps compliment your skin tone, red lipstick is one of the most flattering colors!

So here is how it works:
If you are on the paler side of skin tones, like porcelain, fair, and bisque you want to wear cool tones to match your skin. That cool or blue-based reds would look best with your skin tone like a maroon or a cherry red. But that shouldn't stop you from wearing warm or orange based reds! Wearing the opposite tone for your skin can make you look baring and bold! Literally red lipstick is the most flattering color, even if it isn't your undertone!

If you are on the darker side of skin tones, like beige, olive, tawny, caramel, almond, and ebony you want to wear warm tones to match your skin. So that means wearing warm or orange-based reds. These are like the bright fire truck reds that are very bold. But, If you like the color of a more maroon lip, don't let anyone stop you!
